Cyber Nazo is a powerful, unfinished character prototype originally developed for a potential post-Sonic & Knuckles game on the Sega 32X, never released. The character first appeared in an early demo of what would eventually become Sonic X-treme.
He is essentially a very early iteration of Nazo the Hedgehog, possessing similar physical characteristics such as a spiky, white appearance. He is seen with an energy outline in his sprite, which is what he gets his 'Cyber' moniker from.
Cyber Nazo gained prominence in the Sonic the Hedgehog fan community due to his leaked prototype appearance and the mystery surrounding his incomplete state and potential role in cancelled Sega projects. He remains a significant, albeit unofficial, figure in Sonic lore.
